Directions (Children 2 years and over)
Not recommended for children under 2 years of age.
Can be used by adults however for those 12 years and older we recommend the adult range of MOVICOL.
Constipation / Chronic Constipation / Prevention of Faecal Impaction:
- Children ages 2 – 5 years:
Usual starting dose is one sachet daily. - Children aged 6 – 11 years:
Usual starting dose is two sachets daily.
Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 62.5mL of water, stir well, then drink it. Do not exceed the stated dose.
Drink plenty of water. Increase fibre in diet except in cases of medication-induced constipation.
Notes:
MOVICOL Junior dissolves into a colourless solution.
Store reconstituted solution in a refrigerator and discard any solution not used within 24 hours.

Also contains sulfites, potassium, acesulfame and chocolate flavour.
Each sachet contains 93.4mg of sodium, 13mg of potassium and 7mg of benzyl alcohol.

Use in children should be limited to 12 weeks except under medical supervision.
Do not exceed the maximum daily dose.
Prolonged use of laxatives is undesirable and may lead to dependence.
