Active ingredient:
Honey – Traditionally used to soothe sore throats, honey helps coat the throat and reduce irritation, thereby reducing the need to cough (see ‘interesting info’ for more
Other ingredients:
Menthol – Soothing menthol acts as a counter-irritant to relieve minor throat irritation. It’s also a traditional decongestant.
Cineole (Eucalyptol) – Gives a tingling, warming effect to the throat. The vapours penetrate the nasal passages helping clear a stuffy nose and making it easier to breathe freely.
Irish Moss – Acts as a demulcent to coat the throat and help relieve the irritation causing the cough.
Lemon – Traditionally used for sore throats, it gives a tang and refreshing aftertaste to balance the sweetness of honey.
How To Use
Shake well before use. Pour into medicine cup or spoon. Give every two hours or as required.
Dosage:
| Children (2-6 years) | 2.5mL | ½ tsp |
| Children (6-12 years) | 5mL | 1 tsp |
| Adults (12+ years) | 5-10mL | 1-2 tsp |
Cautions
