Description
Touch Bio UTI Rapid Test 2 Pack
Directions for Use
It’s recommended to take a sample of urine for the test in the early morning since it’s the most concentrated.
The urine used for the test should not come into contact with water from the toilet or any disinfectant or cleaning substances.
For women only: The test should not be performed
during or for three days after your menstrual period. The urine sample should not be contaminated with vaginal fluids since this may produce a misleading result.
PREPARATION:
Wash your hands thoroughly for 20 seconds using soap and water, or hand sanitiser to avoid contaminating the test.
SAMPLE COLLECTION:
Collect part of the urine in the supplied plastic cup or using a clean cup without any residual detergents.
Make sure to fill up the cup with urine.
Open the foil pouch and take out the test strip (DO NOT touch the test fields).
Dip the test strip in the urine sample.
Press the strip and make sure that all four test fields are immersed for about 1-2 seconds.
Then remove the test strip and wipe off any surplus urine against the rim of the container with an absorbent material (e.g paper towel) to avoid mixing chemicals from the adjacent reagent areas.
Wait for 2 minutes.
Read the results separately for each parameter, compare colour with colour chart provided.
DO NOT read results after 3 minutes.
DISPOSAL:
Once your test is complete, please safely dispose the materials in accordance with your local health waste and disposal requirements.
