When to use

For restoration and maintenance of vaginal acidity.

Directions

Apply one applicator (5g) intravaginally twice daily or as directed by the physician.

pH

The pH of a healthy vagina is acidic and ranges between 3.8 and 4.5.

The acidic environment of the vagina helps keep it healthy and clean, although sometimes certain influences may cause a pH imbalance.

Common factors which may affect the vaginal pH include:
Intercourse: Semen has a slightly alkaline pH of 7.1 to 8, if you experience a pH imbalance following intercourse it may be attributed to the slight alkalinity of semen.
Menstruation: Blood also being slightly alkaline has a pH range of 7.34 to 7.45.
Hormonal fluctuations: Such as those experienced when breastfeeding or during menopause onset.
