Betadine First Aid Cream is recommended for the treatment of minor skin infections, as well as preventing infection in minor burns, cuts and abrasions.

Description

Directions

  1. Wash wound with clean running water.
  2. Clean with disposable sterile swabs.
  3. Using sterile gauze, dry the wound first, followed by the surrounding skin.
  4. When the wound has stopped bleeding, apply the appropriate Betadine product to the wound and to the surrounding skin.
  5. Cover wound with appropriate size dressing if friction with clothing or further injury is likely.
  6. Secure dressing with conforming cotton bandage, fastened with safety pin or adhesive tape.

Active Ingredients

Povidone-Iodine 5% w/w equivalent to 0.5% w/w available Iodine.

Warnings

Do not use if hypersensitive to Iodine.
Avoid application over large skin areas.
If irritation, redness, or swlling develops, discontinue treatment.

Do not use if tube seal is broken.
For external use only.
