CoaguChek XS PT Test Strips are for use with the CoaguChek XS Monitor which is used for measuring INR levels for good anti-coagulation control. The test strips are easy to handle and apply blood to, making it easy to get your results rapidly. You can apply the blood sample to the strip either from the top or from the left or right sides, depending on which you find most convenient.

These are almost out of date and can’t be used in time. only 16 weeks until expiry – how can we use 48 strips in that time. Machine won’t work with out of date strips Will try to return them.
Not the fault of Discount Chemist but these are the only test sticks to fit the INR machine so the price is based on a captured market. The test sticks are super-sensitive & can fail even with what surely must be enough blood, seeing it’s spilling onto the bench but sometimes not, so one has to start again. $10 a test stick is acceptable if only using 1 a week or a fortnight but I’m on a pension so when I have to use 3 times a week & then multiple sticks to get a result it gets very pricey.
