Directions
How to use this medicine: Slowly dissolve lozenges in the mouth, one at a time.
Age: Adults & Children over 12 years.
Dosage: 2 Lozenges.
How often: Every 8 hours as required (maximum 6 lozenges per day).
Age: Children 6-12 years (Use in children aged 6-12 years only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner).
Dosage: 1 Lozenge.
How often: Every 8 hours as required (maximum 3 lozenges per day).
Age: Children under 6 years.
Dosage: Do not use.
If symptoms persist, see your doctor or pharmacist.
Active Ingredients
Each lozenge contains Bromhexine hydrochloride 8mg, Cetylpyridinium chloride 1.33mg, Isomalt.
Warnings
Do not use this medicine.
- In children under 6 years
- If seal is broken
- If past the expiry date.
Caution: Contains Saccharin sodium and Isomalt. This medicine contains 15.5g isomalt per 6 lozenges (maximum recommended daily dose). Products containing isomalt may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
The efficacy of an antibacterial agent in lozenges in reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established.
