Duro-Tuss Dry Cough Plus Sore Throat Lemon

Directions

Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 Lozenges (one at a time) every 3 hours as required (maximum 16 lozenges per day).

Children 6-11 years (only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner): 1 Lozenge every 2-3 hours as required (maximum 8 lozenges per day).

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Each lozenge contains: Dextromethorphan hydrobromide monohydrate 5 mg, Cetylpyridinium chloride 1.3 mg, Benzocaine 1 mg, Menthol 5.2 mg

Contains: (Other ingredients) Cineole, Flavour, Liquid Glucose, Purified Water, Quinoline Yellow, Saccharin Sodium, Sodium Chloride, Sucrose, Sunset Yellow FCF

Warnings

Do not use this medicine:

• If you are taking a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or an antidepressant, or have taken the MAOI or antidepressant medicine within the past two weeks.
• In children under 6 years
• If seal is broken
• If past the expiry date

See your doctor or pharmacist before use in children aged 6-11 years.

While using this medicine:

• Due to the anaesthetic effect, do not have hot food or drink directly after taking the lozenges
• The efficacy of an antibacterial agent in lozenges in reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established
• If symptoms persist, see your doctor or pharmacist.
