Sumatriptan, the active ingredient in Imigran® Migraine, is used to treat the painful symptoms of migraine headaches by making the blood vessels in the head that are thought to widen during an attack normal again and thereby easing the symptoms of migraine
Suitable For: For the acute relief of migraine in patients who have a stable, well established pattern of symptoms. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light & sound.

If the first dose is effective but the migraine comes back later, you may take another 50 mg tablet. Wait at least 2 hours after the first tablet was taken. Do not take more than 100 mg (2 tablets) in any 24-hour period. Do not take any more sumatriptan if the first dose has not provided any relief from your symptoms.
Adults 18 to 65 years: Take one tablet at the first sign of a migraine headache or associated symptoms (nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light)

Do not use this product:- In children under 12 years of age. – Without a previous diagnosis of migraine by a doctor.- If you have heart disease, peripheral vascular disease (a blood vessel disorder) or high blood pressure or have previously had a heart attack or stroke angina. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use: – If you think you may be at risk of heart disease (including if you are post- menopausal or a male over the age of 40)
