Directions
FOR HEAT THERAPY:
Place one pack flat in a microwave for the time indicated below. Each pack should be heated separately. After testing pack temperature, you may add more time in 5 seconds increments as needed until desired temperature is reached. Always test pack temperature prior to application.
- IMPORTANT: Do not heat for more tan the time indicated below during initial heating. Do not heat for more than 5 second increments during subsequent heating. Do not heat for more than 25 seconds in total.
- Suggested heating time for 1 pack in a microwave:
- 700 Watts: 16 Seconds
- 1000 Watts: 13 Seconds
- 1250 Watts: 11 Seconds
FOR USE WITH BREAST PUMP:
Heat packs according to instructions and wrap around outisde of the breastpump flanges while expressing. Alternatively, the packs can be used on your breasts just prior to expressing to help encourage let-down.
FOR COLD THERAPY:
Freeze for at least 2 hours.
Lansinoh Thera°Pearl 3-in-1 Breast Therapy should only be used for 20 minutes at one time.
Cleaning & Storage Instructions
Store at room temperature out of direct sunlight. Before each use, clean with a mild soap, detergent or alcohol. After use, store in an airtight plastic bag at room temperature out of direct sunlight, or in a freezer.
Cautions
Do not heat packs beyond the time stated. Heating beyond the stated time may damage or destroy the Thera°Pearl pack.
Always test pack temperature prior to application. Do not apply for longer than 20 minutes at a time.
Overheating or prolonged application may cause injury. Do not use for purposes other than intended.
Do not fall asleep using pack.
For external use only.
Do not use on infants or allow infants to chew on packs.
Do not apply on sensitive skin, insensitive (numb) skin or open wounds.
Use only under adult supervision. Do not puncture pack and/ore ingest contents.
Discard pack if punctured or leaking.
For extreme, prolonged or chronic pain, contact a healthare professional.
