LifeTemp Radient Non-Contact Thermometer

Description

Although the LifeTemp Radient® Non-Contact Thermometer is intended for the measurement and monitoring of human body temperature it may also be used for the measurement of object or ambient surface temperatures within the home. This thermometer has been clinically tested to be accurate and safe to use on all patients, irrespective of age.

Body Temperature Measurement Ranges

Normal temperature range by site:

Axillary: 94.5 – 99.1oF 34.7 – 37.3oC

Oral: 95.9 – 99.5oF 35.5 – 37.5oC

Rectal: 97.9 – 100.4oF 36.6 – 38.0oC

Non Contact: 96.8 – 100.2oF 36.0 – 37.9oC (Radient)

As temperature varies according to the site used to take the measurement, readings taken from different body sites cannot be directly compared.

Normal body temperature, is not 37.6oC, but is unique to each individual and varies within an individual range based on age, daily activity, hormonal activity, etc, and for this reason a temperature range is defined above.

Each person’s normal temperature may be defined by measuring body temperature several times during a day when illness is absent.

Record these readings for future reference to use for comparison when a fever may be suspected.
