Directions

Adults only:
Nervoderm is easy to use and apply. Nervoderm patches can be worn at night or during the day underneath your clothing, making it comfortable to go about your normal day-to-day activities or to wear while you are asleep.

• STEP 1
  Cut any hairs on the affected skin using scissors. Do not shave hairs off to avoid irritation
• STEP 2
  Ensure the skin is clean and dry
• STEP 3
  Remove a patch from the sachet and seal the sachet
• STEP 4
  If required, cut the patch to fit the painful area
• STEP 5
  Remove the transparent liner from the patch
• STEP 6
  Apply the patch to the site of pain. Press onto the skin for at least 10 seconds to ensure it sticks firmly

Apply Nervoderm in 12 hour on and off intervals. For example, if you have more pain at night you might want to apply the patch at 7 pm in the evening and remove it at 7 am in the morning.
You should not apply Nervoderm to open wounds, injured skin, eyes or mouth.

Do not give Nervoderm to children. Safety and effectiveness in children younger than 18 years has not been established.
Up to a maximum of three medicated patches can be applied at the same time to the site of pain.

Ingredients

Actives (in each patch):
5% w/w lidocaine (lignocaine)

Contains hydroxybenzoates as a preservative.

Self Adhesive Layer:
glycerol, sorbitol solution (70 percent) (crystallising), carmellose sodium, propylene glycol, urea, kaolin-heavy, tartaric acid, gelatin, polyvinyl alcohol, aluminium glycinate, disodium edetate, methyl hydroxybenzoate, propyl hydroxybenzoate, polyacrylic acid, sodium polyacrylate, water-purified.

Backing fabric and release liner:
Polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
