Rehydraid Orange Flavour is an oral electrolyte solution that rapidly replaces fluid and electrolytes for the prevention and relief of dehydration caused by vomiting, diarrhoea, heavy sweating and excessive alcohol consumption. Rehydraid may be taken on the first signs of fluid loss due to vomiting, the first signs of fluid loss due to diarrhea, and to help manage dehydration due to the loss of fluids through heavy sweating.

Dosage

For dehydration caused by vomiting and diarrhoea.

Under 12 months 100ml every 90 mins 1000 mL
1–3 years 100ml every 90 mins 1400 mL
3–6 years 100ml every 60 mins 2000 mL
6–12 years 100ml every 30 mins 2600 mL
12–Adult 200ml every 30 mins 4000 mL

Potassium Citrate (Monohydrate)…2.2mg
Citrid Acid Monohydrate 4.8mg
Glucose (Monohydrate)…16mg

Electrolytes & Glucose per Litre:
Sodium…45mmol
Potassium…20mmol
Chloride…45mmol
Citrate…30mmol
Glucose…80mmol

Contains 0.86mg/mL Potassium, 1.06mg/mL Sodium.
Also contains Purified Water, Sucralose, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate.

Warnings

Use only as directed.
If dehydration symptoms persist, consult a medical professional.

Seek medical advice if vomiting or diarrhoea persists for more than:

  • 6 hours in infants under 6 months
  • 12 hours in children aged 6 months – 3 years
  • 24 hours in children aged 3 – 6 years
  • 48 hours in children over 6 years and adults

Do not use if cap seal is broken.
Refrigerate after opening, discard after 30 days.
