ALLEVYN Adhesive Foam Dressing 2 Pack (7.5cm x 7.5cm)

Directions

• Step 1: Wash hands before and after treating wound. Gently clean wound and surrounding skin. Clean and dry the skin surrounding the wound and clip any excess hair close to the wound.
• Step 2: Open the pouch by peeling apart the flaps of the pouch paper. Remove the dressing. Start to remove the backing sheet from the dressing. Anchor teh adhesive side of the dressing to the skin.
• Step 3: Smooth the dressing over the wound, removing the remaining backing paper. Ensure the dressing has adhered all aorund the wound.

Using ALLEVYN Adhesive for difficult to treat areas:

• Adhesive finger dressing
  • Take an ALLEVYN Adhesive dressing 7.5cm x 7.5cm and turn diagonally.
    Ensure surrounding skin is dry. Place the finger on the corner edge of the dressing.
  • Lift the dressing over the tip of the finger.
    Turn the finger over and secure the corners across the finger in turn.
  • Ensure the dressing is flush to the skin without wrinkles.
    Smooth edges around.
• Adhesive toe dressing
  • Take an ALLEVYN Adhesive dressing 7.5cm x 7.5cm and turn diagonally.
    Ensure surrounding skin is dry. Place the toe on the corner edge of the dressing.
  • Lift the dressing over the tip of the toe.
    Turn the edges of the dressing across the back of the toe.
  • Ensure the dressing is flush to the toe.
    Smooth edges around.

Lift one corner and pull the dressing back to itself.

Warnings

Designed for mderate to highly exuding wounds, ALLEVYN Adhesive minimises pain on removal and provides a moist wound environment which promotes fast healing.
ALLEVYN Adhesive can stay in place for up to seven days depending on the condition of the wound and the asurrounding skin.
Do not use on dry wounds or fragile skin.
