Betadine Antiseptic Ointment is recommended for the treatment of common skin infections such as infected skin around the nails and tinea, as well as preventing infection in minor burns, cuts and abrasions. It is a bacterial, sporicidal and fungicidal antiseptic.
25g Ointment
Apply directly to the affected area two to three times daily. May be bandaged.
Povidone-Iodine 10% w/w equivalent to 1% w/w available Iodine.
Do not use if hypersensitive to iodine.
If irritation, redness or swlling deleops discontinue treatment.
In case of deep puntured wounds or serious burns, consult doctor.
Avoid application over large skin areas.
Do not use if seal is broken.
