Canesten Extra 1% Cream 30g – Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone (S3)

Canesten Extra is a anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory cream for treating and soothing inflamed and itching fungal skin conditions.

Canesten Extra is a combined anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory treatment for fungal skin infections to treat the cause of the infection and soothe the associated itch, inflammation, pain and redness.

For the treatment and relief of symptoms of fungal nappy rash, inflamed athlete’s foot, jock itch and fungal skin rash.

It is a broad spectrum anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory cream with two active ingredients: clotrimazole and hydrocortisone. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which treats the root cause of fungal skin infections. Hydrocortisone is a mild topical steroid which reduces the swelling, redness and itching associated with inflammation of the skin.

Size: 30g

Contains Clotrimazole 10 mg/g and Hydrocortisone acetate 11.2mg /g

Apply thinly and evenly with gentle rubbing to the affected area twice daily. Use ony until inflammation, itching and redness have subsided and not more than 7 days, then use an anti-fungal cream, such as Canesten clotrimazole Anti-fungal cream for 14 days after symptoms disappear to help avoid recurrence of the infection.

CAUTION

For external use only, Do not use for acne. Do not use in children under 2 years unless a doctor tells you to. Do not use on broken skin. Do not cover treated skin with waterproof bandages. Do not use for more than 7 days unless a doctor has told you to. If irritation occurs discontinue use. Do not use in the eyes. Contains benzyl alcohol 20mg/g as a preservative.
