Directions

Adults and children 12 years and over.
Dosage: 10mL
How Often: Every 4 hours at night-time as necessary (maximum 6 doses in 24 hours).

Children 6 -11 years (only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner).

Ingredients

PER 5 mL: Dextromethorphan hydrobromide monohydrate 10 mg. Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg. Brompheniramine maleate 2 mg

Other ingredients: Ascorbic Acid, Citric Acid, Disodium Edetate, Ethyl Maltol, Flavour, Glycerol, Hyetellose, Maltitol Solution, Methyl Hydroxybenzoate, Propyl Hydroxybenzoate, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Saccharin Sodium, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Metabisulfite, Sorbitol Solution (70 per cent) (non-crystallising)

Warnings

Do not use this medicine:

• In children under 6 years
• In children 6 -11 years, except on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.

See your doctor or pharmacist before use if:

• You have high blood pressure
• You have heart problems
• You are taking a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or an antidepressant, or have taken the MAOI or antidepressant medicine within the past two weeks
• You are taking antihistamines or medicines intended to treat the symptoms of the common cold
• You are pregnant, think you are pregnant, or breastfeeding.

Whilst using DURO-TUSS:

• If symptoms persist, see your doctor or pharmacist.
• This medicine may cause sleeplessness.
• This medicine may cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol.

Contains: Saccharin, Sulfites, Hydroxybenzoates, Sorbitol (9.2 g/60 mL) and Maltitol (8.8 g/60 mL). Products containing sorbitol or maltitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
