MICROSHIELD 4 is a topical antiseptic solution for cleaning the skin and has the added indication as a surgical hand scrub/wash and preoperative body wash.

Use undiluted. If using as a hand wash, wet hands. Apply MICROSHIELD 4 to the skin and rub gently over all the surfaces of the hands including the spaces between the fingers. Rinse well and dry hands.
For preoperative body washing, wet skin and apply MICROSHIELD 4 to a clean wash cloth or directly onto skin and work into a light lather all over the body, or a specific body part. Leave on skin for 1 minute, before thoroughly rinsing off.
Active ingredients: Chlorhexidine gluconate 4%w/v
Do not use if sensitive or allergic to chlorhexidine.
For external use only.
Avoid contact with eyes and ears.
If in eyes or ears, rinse thoroughly with water.
Mild irritation may occur, discontinue use if it becomes severe.
