IMPORTANT! Most toothpaste contain sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) which is a known evidence-based proven irritant. I used to get ulcers in my mouth all the time from using SLS containing toothpastes, which is most well-known brands. Sensodyne doesn’t use SLS. Since I started using Sensodyne five years ago I haven’t had a single mouth ulcer. SLS have no other purpose than to make the toothpaste frothy in your mouth. Even though Sensodyne doesn’t use SLS, it still gets just as frothy in my mouth. I use this particular Sensodyne because I have sensitive teeth and it helps a lot.
