Bisacodyl Suppositories are indicated for the relief of occasional constipation. The active ingredient bisacodyl works as a stimulant laxative. It stimulates the colon to produce a bowel movement in 15 to 60 minutes. Bisacodyl suppositories are also used for bowel evacuation prior to investigational procedures or surgery. Suitable for adults and children over 10 years of age.
10 Suppositories
Bisacodyl suppositories are easy to insert. Remove the suppository from the plastic wrapping. Lie on your side and draw your knees towards your chest. Insert one suppository high into the rectum (back passage) with the pointed end first and retain for 15 to 30 minutes. You may lubricate the tip of the suppository with water soluble lubricating gel to make insertion easier.
