Directions

Adults – the usual initial dose is 15-45mL daily.
After three days the dose may be reduced to 15-30mL daily for maintenance.

Children (under medical supervision) – the usual doses are:

• Age 7-14 years: Initially (3 days) – 15mL, Maintenance – 10-15mL
• Age 1-6 years: Initially (3 days) – 5-10mL, Maintenance – 5-10mL
• Infants under 1 year: Initially (3 days) – 5mL, Maintenance – 5mL

Warning

Use in children: It is recommended that if Dulose is given to infants and children, this should be done under medical supervision.
Prolonged use of laxatives is undesirable.
If symptoms persist seek medical advice.
As a general rule, patients with constipation should drink plenty of water and increase the amount of fibre in their diet.
May also contain other sugars including lactose, epilactose, galactose, tagatose and fructose.
